Jamie's sketchbook cover with color.
The first sixth grade art assignment and blog requirement is titled: Value Landscapes. Students used the program Paint, to create a value landscape. The landscapes had to include a foreground, middle ground, and a background. The color requirements revolved around using just one color, but providing a wide range of values. This is my teacher example, but check out our An Art Room Blog for upcoming student blogs with their Value Landscapes on display!
